Policy

1. Introduction

Blue Pintale is a brand and packaging studio in Hyderabad. Since 2015 we have worked on identities, packaging, photography and campaigns for brands across India. That work regularly involves unreleased products, confidential launch plans and artwork that has not yet reached a shelf. Handling it carefully is not an add-on to how we work; it is the condition of being trusted with it in the first place. This policy explains what information Blue Pintale (“Blue Pintale”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you visit bluepintale.com, make an enquiry, or work with us on a project, and what we do with it.

It is written to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it, and with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its allied rules.

By using this website or engaging our services, you accept the practices set out below.

2. What we collect

2.1 Information you give us directly

  • Name, email address, phone number, company or brand name, and role.

  • Category, market and business context shared during a first conversation or a briefing call.

  • Billing name, GSTIN, billing address and payment references for engaged projects.

2.2 Project material

  • Briefs, product information, launch timelines, category research and commercial context shared to scope or run a project.

  • Existing brand assets: logos, artwork, dielines, photography, packaging specifications, ingredient and statutory copy, and source files.

  • Feedback, approvals, revision notes and correspondence generated over the life of a project.

  • Much of this is your confidential business information rather than personal data. It is covered by Section 6.

2.3 Photography and film material

Where we shoot for you, we capture images and footage that may include identifiable people, including founders, staff, hand models, and people present in retail and factory environments. This is handled under Section 7.

2.4 Technical data from the website

  • IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time on page and referral source.

  • Cookie identifiers and consent preferences (Section 10).

2.5 Communications

Emails, calls, WhatsApp threads, enquiry form submissions, and interactions on our official social channels.

3. How we use it

We use your information to:

  • Reply to enquiries and prepare scopes, estimates and proposals.

  • Run the work across strategy, identity, packaging, photography, content and campaigns, and coordinate the vendors a project needs.

  • Share progress, deliverables, timelines and approvals, and keep a record of what was approved and when.

  • Raise invoices, maintain financial records and meet tax and statutory obligations.

  • Maintain and improve the website using aggregated analytics.

  • Send occasional studio updates and work notes, where you have opted in. Every such message carries an unsubscribe link.

We do not use your data to train third-party AI or machine-learning models, and we do not upload client material to public AI tools.

4. Why we are allowed to use it

Under the DPDP Act we process personal data on one of two grounds:

  • Your consent, given when you submit an enquiry, sign a scope of work, or opt in to studio updates. You can withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it (Section 9).

  • Legitimate uses recognised by the Act, including data you have voluntarily provided for a purpose you approached us for, and processing required to comply with law or a court order.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out, and may mean we can no longer run an active project.

5. Who we share it with

Blue Pintale does not sell, rent or trade personal information.

6. Client confidentiality and portfolio use

Two commitments sit behind everything above.

Confidentiality. Unreleased packaging, naming routes, launch dates, formulations, pricing and category research stay inside the studio for the duration and beyond. Where you have a signed NDA or confidentiality clause with us, its terms take precedence over this policy.

Portfolio. We publish work to bluepintale.com, to our social channels, and to award and press submissions. We publish only work that has been publicly released, or work you have specifically cleared. Commercial figures, sales data and internal research are never published without your written approval. If you would prefer a project stayed off the site, before or after publication, write to us and we will remove it.

7. Photography, film and image rights

On shoots we work to the following:

  • Anyone identifiable in a commercial image or film signs a model release before use, or is captured in a way that does not identify them.

  • Raw and unselected frames are not published, resold or licensed to stock libraries.

  • Usage rights, covering territory, media and duration, are set in the scope of work for each shoot. We do not use the images beyond it, except for portfolio purposes under Section 6.

  • Original files are archived for reshoots and reprints. You can ask us to delete a specific shoot archive at any time.

8.Your rights

You may:

  • Ask what personal data of yours we hold and how it is being processed.

  • Ask us to correct or complete anything inaccurate.

  • Ask us to erase data we no longer have a lawful reason to keep.

  • Withdraw consent to marketing at any time, by clicking unsubscribe or writing to us.

  • Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to.

  • Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if our response does not resolve it.

Write to bluepintaleclients@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity first, and we may decline a request where the law requires us to keep the record.

9. Cookies

The site uses:

  • Essential cookies, for basic functionality. The site does not work properly without them.

  • Analytics cookies, which give us aggregated, non-identifying traffic data via Google Analytics.

  • Marketing cookies, for retargeting on Google and Meta, where enabled.

10. Security

We use TLS encryption across the site, access-controlled cloud storage for client files, role-based permissions so team members see only the projects they are on, and multi-factor authentication on studio accounts. Vendor access is granted per project and revoked at close. We review these practices periodically. No system is entirely risk-free. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as required under the DPDP Act. Please do not send passwords, bank details or scans of identity documents over WhatsApp or email. Ask us for a secure link instead.

11. Third-party links

The site links to social channels, press coverage and client sites. We are not responsible for how those platforms handle your data. Review their policies separately.

12. Changes to this policy

We update this policy as our practices or the law changes. The date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be notified to active clients by email.
